Despite Today Being Indigenous Peoples Day, The DAPL Project Moves Forward
Despite the injunction and the fact that today is Indigenous Peoples Day, the plans to resume the Dakota Access Pipeline continue.
Building this pipeline will further disrupt the lands and lives of the people who were here first, as well as negatively impact their access to water. Water is life, and discrupting water access to anyone is without a doubt a human right violation. People around the world know this as a fact whether they live in remote regions of the world or Flint, Michigan.
As an ally, I stand with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and all of my Indigenous brothers and sisters as they continue the fight for water and their livelihoods.

In Solidarity.
